Step 1 :: Sign into your Gmail account.

Step 2 :: Now Click on the Gear Icon > Click on Setting to open Gmail Setting.

Step 3 :: Goto General Tab (by defaul General Tab will open when you click on setting).

Step 4 :: Now Enable the option titled Ask before displaying external images.

Step 5 :: Click on the Save Changes Button to save all the thing.

Now Gmail will not automatically load images in emails and ask your permission before displaying images in email. Now you need to click on links to display images like Display images below to view images in your mail.
