How To Submit Blog Or Website To Bing Webmaster Tools ::
Bing Webmaster Tools is a free service provided by the Microsoft where webmasters can submit their site to get SEO reports like Crawl Stats, Index Status, Keywords that causes more traffic to their website and much more.
To submit your site on Bing Webmaster Tools you need to follow the steps that are given below ::
Step 1 :: Sign In Microsoft Account using Hotmail or Outlook. If you don't have Microsoft Account you can create a new one here.
Step 2 :: Now Login to Bing Webmaster Tools using your hotmail id.
Step 3 :: After Successfully signed in you need to add your site for doing this you need to enter your site url into the textbox and click on the ADD button.
Step 4 :: Once you have submitted your website url, you need to add some information related to your website like sitemap links. You need to enter your sitemap link into the second textbox and click on ADD button and you will be redirected on Bing Webmaster Tools dashboard where you will see a message like this :: "Site ownership has not been verified, Veirfy Now". Click on Verify Now button.
Step 5 :: When you click on Verify now you will be redirected on a page where three verification methods are available to verify your site ownership choose one of them to verify your ownership.
- File Upload
- Adding Meta Tag in Header
- CNAME records to DNS
Here I have used the second one that is Adding Meta Tag in Header. Copy this meta tag and paste it into the header section of your blog template.
Step 6 :: Goto Blogger dashboard >> Template >> Edit HTML and search for the <head> and paste the meta tag just below the <head> and save all the changes.
Step 7 :: Now again come to verify page and click on the verify button to verify your ownership and you will we redirected on webmaster dashboard.
