Top 10 Recommended SEO Settings for Blogger

Today I am going to discuss some SEO recommendation for the Blogeer, as we know that Learning SEO is important for every webmaster and blogger. Why? Because no matter how great the content on your site is, you're not getting any of it into search results if you don't apply SEO tactics. Therefor for bringing any traffic for your content or your Post you need SEO. So today I am going to share some SEO settings that every Blogger should apply on their bolgs.

These are specific to Blogger, but that doesn't mean you can't apply some of them to other platforms.

1. Choose your topic carefully ::

The most important part of creating content is Choosing the Post Topic. The topic you choose should be compliant with what your users want. It should be unique and original, and should offer something of value to the users. So before going to create a post you have to analyze about your Post regarding the Topic and Content.

2. Writing quality Content ::

Second most important thing is Content Quality, make sure your content should be unique and useful for your readers because high quality content are always welcomed by search engines and readers. That's why we should be focused on content quality. If you could produce a content with good quality and optimization, it is sure to get good ranking as soon as possible.

3. Keywords research before post ::

So, you've decided to write about something. But you're looking for words to explain? You have to learn how to do some keyword research first. You will need keywords for various different things, such as titles, meta descriptions, tags, and so on. Always remember that the title is the most important part of your Post we can say that the Title is the King of the Post, since it is the one that actually brings in the clicks.

4. Meta Description ::

After Post Title, Meta Description is the most important part of your Blog Post because it is what user will see on the search engine along with your post title. That's why you have to give a very short description to your post of at most 160 -  180 characters and make sure to include all the important keywords that are related to your Post.

Images are also one of the best SEO elements. How ? because it has Alternative Tag or Alt Tag where we can include keywords related to our post that would be a great advantage for SEO. Remember that when we use an image in post make sure the size of image should be less in terms of memory, because less memory take less space on server and image with large size of memory take more space on server. So i recommend that do everything that scale down your image before uploading.  

6. Optimize Permalink ::

Always keep permalinks short. Use custom permalinks of around 4-5 words at max, and separate each word a hyphen "-". Make sure you capture your most important keyword in the permalink (your focus keyword).

7. Anchor Text ::

An anchor text is the text you use to link to another page, and it is what users click to get to that other page. Choosing anchor text is a very important part of linking. Never use a single word anchor text. Always use a phrase. Usually, a three-word phrase is the best option. Always use a keyword phrase as anchor text.

Also, keep in mind to never use the same anchor text twice for the same link. It is considered as keyword stuffing, and/or spamming. Whether on your site or another, always vary the anchor text.

8. Heading Title Tags ::

Heading Tags like H1, H2, H3, etc plays a very important role in SEO. But we should learn how to perfectly how to use these heading Tags. H1, H2, H3 etc tags can be use for the Title of your paragraph. Suppose you are writing a post then divide your content into two to three paragraphs and make titles with H1, H2, H3, etc. In tags you can also include keywords that helps in SEO.

9. Use of Blog Labels ::

Organize your blog's structure into a series of Labels (or tags and categories if you're using WordPress). Use at least one, and at max three labels for one blog post. And keep the total number of labels between 15 and 20 (for Blogger blogs, but same for categories in WordPress).

10. Create a Sitemap ::

A sitemap is a listing of all the pages on your site. Often times, search crawlers might miss out on a page because you might not have linked to it in any other page. So to tell search engines to index that isolated page, you have to submit a sitemap to them.
