How To Use Balloon Popup Extendar in Asp.Net using Ajax

Today we will learn How To Use Balloon Popup Control in Asp.Net using Ajax. Before going to start the tutorial make sure that you have installed Ajax Control Toolkit into your Visual Studio if not then for installing Ajax Control Toolkit click here. You can use the Balloon Popup Exteder to display some information when you move focus to TextBox Control. The Balloon popup support three types of style but you can customize it by using css and make it more interactive.

Steps to Use Balloon Extender

Step 1 ::

Firt you have to take these three controls

1. TextBox
2. Panel
3. ToolScriptManager

write anything in the panel : Hello I am Balloon Popup(say)

Step 2 ::

Now Goto Smart Menu of Textbox and Select add Extender a window will open

after selecting Balloon Popup Extnder click on OK Button.

Step 3 ::

Now Goto properties of TextBox1 and Explore the tab TextBox1_BalloonPopupExtender and Put the Panel ID at the BalloonPopupControlID

You can also change the design of popup by selecting the pattern from the BalloonStyle.

Step 4 ::

At last view your page in Browser..
