How To Add Meta Description Tag in Every Post

After the Title tag of your post Meta Description tag comes. it is the part of Search Engine Optimization and the most important thing is that every post should have description that is related to respective post. In older interface of blogger we only used to add description to Home Page but now we can add description to each and every post of our blog.

  

1. What is Meta Description Tag ::

The description is the thing that provides a quick view of the post. It is the thing that comes with the title of your post in Search Engine. It describe the web page to the search engine' crawler means that it provide the information about your webpage to the crawler.

2. Adding Meta Description Tag to your Home Page::

Adding description is very simple, by default in blogger that is disable so we need to enable it and after we can use it for every post. So follow these simple step to enable the description tag to your post.

• Go to Blogger >> Settings >> Search Preferences.
• Look for Meta Tag section and click on YES to enable it.
• A box will appear where you have to write description about your blog.

• Click on Save changes button to save it.

3. Adding Meta Description Tags in Every Post  ::

After enabling Meta description Tag on your Home Page, it's time to add these tags on every post. Now if you open a post editor or post post creator you can see a Search Description section in the sidebar where you can write your post or content description.
